Shailesh Vara MP
Shailesh Vara MP spent four days at Kids Company, London, who work with 6,000 profoundly disadvantaged children each year.
Shailesh Vara MP, the Conservative Member of Parliament for North West Cambridgeshire, was on the Inner City Challenge from 31 July to 3 August 2006. He was placed with Kids Co. where he helped with the charity that helps vulnerable inner-city children and young people in all areas of their life by providing practical, emotional and educational support.
Shailesh was able to experience many of the areas in which Kids Co. work from their London facility.
