Douglas Carswell MP worked with Thames Reach and their house for 42 elderly former rough sleepers.
 
Thames Reach is a London-based charity helping homeless and vulnerable people to find decent homes, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives. Douglas worked for a week, 17 - 22 July 2006, at Thames Reach, helping at its Robertson Street project which provides accommodation and support to elderly former rough sleepers.
